Special Notes:

  • Finish up any pruning.

  • This is the last month to spray dormant oil on deciduous trees and shrubs

  • Prepare your flower and vegetable beds

    • Amend your soil by checking the pH. You can get a small kit at your local nursery. Alfalfa meal or pellets can be added to balance the pH and also add important trace elements to your soil.  I also put this around my Roses.

  • FEBRUARY 17 is generally the last call for planting any bareroot
