Gardening - Calendar for April
SPECIAL NOTES:
-
Coastal gardeners can sill plant cool-weather vegetable crops like spinach, cabbage and broccoli. Leaving near the coast I usually have these planted by mid-March.
-
Clean up of flowering shrubs like azaleas and rhododendrons. I usually shear these back as this will encourage more flowers for next year.
